New York Global Law Week Challenges to International Intellectual Property Protection Program

Andrew will speak at a program during NY Global Law Week sponsored by the International Section of the NY State Bar Association. The program, focusing on the challenges to international protection of intellectual property, will be held on May 11, 2011 between 3:00 and 5:00 pm and will take place at Andrew’s firm, Tannenbaum Helpern Syracuse & Hirschtritt, 900 3rd Avenue, NY. Andrew will talk about how foreign copyrights are protected in this country and how U.S. copyrights are protected abroad. Joining Andrew on the program will be his colleague, L. Donald Prutzman, who will speak about the international protection of trademarks.  Also speaking are Pierre R. Yanney of Stroock & Stroock & Lavan, who will talk about the international protection of patents and Dianne K. Cahill, Director of Legal Affairs at American Express who will focus on the client’s prospective on international intellectual property protection.
